The American Manufacturing Hall of Fame honored three Connecticut companies Thursday at its first statewide induction breakfast at The Jackson Laboratory campus in Farmington.

The 2023 Hall of Fame inductees were submarine builder General Dynamic Electric Boat in Groton, Oxford-based industrial components manufacturer RBC Bearings and semiconductor manufacturer ASML in Wilton.

The theme of this year’s event was Boldly Go! Celebrate Those Who Innovate.

Other honorees included Doug Johnson of Marion Manufacturing, who received an Innovator/Leadership Award. For the first time, the “Boldly Go!” award was given to the 41 Connecticut manufacturers instrumental in the Artemis I Moonshot Program.

The American Manufacturing Hall of Fame was founded in 2014 by a group of manufacturing stakeholders to “celebrate America’s manufacturing innovations, promote the need for advanced manufacturing training programs and raise funds to educate the next generation of manufacturing workers.”
