Bed Bath & Beyond announced over the weekend that its final two stores in Connecticut will soon close, as it winds down operations since filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last month.
The Union, New Jersey-based company said store closing sales have begun across all 360 Bed Bath & Beyond and 120 buybuy BABY stores in the United States.
Bed Bath & Beyond has already closed seven stores in Connecticut this year.
The two remaining stores are at 532 Bushy Hill Road in Simsbury and 14 Candlewood Lake Road in Brookfield. The company has not said when they will close.
In the meantime, stores are offering discounts ranging from 10% to 30% off the lowest-ticketed prices on many home, baby, beauty and wellness products.
Select store fixtures, furnishings and equipment are also for sale.
Gift cards, merchandise credits and loyalty rewards will be honored through Monday, May 8.
The liquidation sale is being managed by Hilco Merchant Resources, Gordon Brothers, Tiger Capital Group and B. Riley Retail Solutions.
