Clarity Software Solutions Inc. makes leadership changes

Clarity Software Solutions Inc., a Madison-based health-care communications company, is moving its chief operating officer, Steve Mongelli, into the role of president and CEO.

The move is effective July 1.

Sean Rotermund, the company’s founder and CEO, will become the founder and vice chairman of Clarity, and will focus on strategic initiatives for the company.

The company has made additional changes to its executive team. Steve Palma, senior vice president of sales, now serves as chief growth officer, and Kathy Dolan, vice president of client engagement, has been promoted to senior vice president of operations.

Clarity assists health-care organizations around the country with their communications needs via print, web, mobile and email.

Stephen Testa has joined Solidification Products International Inc. as the company’s quality assurance, safety and compliance manager at its Northford facility.

Testa, a Middletown resident, has a background in manufacturing operations, quality assurance, safety and regulatory compliance. He is a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces, and he earned a master’s degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a bachelor’s degree from State University of New York at Albany. 

The company builds oil containment and hydrocarbon products.

Arvinas Inc., a clinical-stage biotechnology company creating a new class of drugs based on targeted protein degradation, announced that Wendy Dixon has joined its board of directors. 

Dixon comes with 40 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.

“We are pleased to welcome Wendy to Arvinas’ Board of Directors and look forward to her valuable insight related to key functions such as marketing, strategic planning, and business development,” said John Houston, Arvinas’ president and CEO.

Dixon currently serves as a director for Incyte Corporation, Alkermes plc, bluebird bio, and Voyager Therapeutics. Her career has included stints as chief marketing officer and president of global marketing for Bristol-Myers Squibb and as senior vice president of marketing for Merck & Co. Inc.

Dixon has been involved in the launch of more than 20 pharmaceutical products, including Tagamet, Fosamax, Singulair, Plavix, Abilify, Reyataz and Baraclude.

Dixon received her Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge.
