E. Hartford manufacturer unveils Atlanta expansion

East Hartford manufacturer Dur-A-Flex, which makes flooring systems and polymer components for commercial and industrial customers at its Goodwin Street plant, announced Wednesday it will expand its operations in Atlanta, Ga.

Dur-A-Flex officials said it is leasing a 15,000-square-foot facility in Georgia, the fourth location for the Connecticut manufacturer.

“Our presence in the Atlanta area will enable our customers in the South to receive the same superior sales and technical service assistance as our East Coast, West Coast and Midwest customers receive,” said Peter V. Ferris, president and COO of Dur-A-Flex.

The East Hartford company says its Atlanta business will enhance its ability to expand throughout the southern region.
