FedEx Ground hiring 1,250 new employees in CT

FedEx Ground this week announced plans to hire 1,250 new employees at four of its Connecticut facilities. 

The company says the growth is in response to surging demand for e-commerce services, such as its seven-day residential delivery. 

FedEx is hiring at its following locations: South Windsor, 40 Kennedy Road; Windsor, 759 Rainbow Road; Middletown, 49 FedEx Drive; and Willington, 350 Ruby Road, the company said. 

The majority of the hires will be package handlers, however the company said it plans to hire a variety of other administrative positions.

Various shifts are available during the day, at night, and on weekends. Benefits include holiday pay, medical, dental, and vision coverage.
