Btone FITNESS, a workout center franchise based in Boston, is opening its first Connecticut location this month with a 2,000-square-foot studio in downtown Hartford.

Btone FITNESS Hartford is located at 111 Pearl St. and is currently in the middle of its soft opening through May 15. The studio, which is btone FITNESS’s 12th overall, will host its grand opening May 16.

According to the company, the new 2,128-square-foot facility has 10 custom-engineered reformer machines and offers highly personalized, 45-minute full-body workouts for clients. The machines can be easily modified during a workout for users to make changes based on their fitness levels and goals.

Through the soft opening, the new studio is offering introductory specials of five classes for $89, or eight classes for $119. Further, guests can donate $5 to participate in a “mock” training class led by soon-to-be instructors. All proceeds of these donations will go to KNOX, a Hartford-based nonprofit that aims to create greener and healthier neighborhoods in the city through community gardens and programs.

Btone FITNESS Hartford is owned and operated by Adam Kinson and Emily Walsh. The company’s other locations are in Massachusetts primarily around Boston. Company officials said there are more franchises planned for New England in Cape Cod and Providence.
