Former Gold Roc diner property sells for nearly $2M

The former home of West Hartford’s Gold Roc diner, which recently closed its doors amid the ongoing pandemic, has sold for $1.95 million, town records show. 

The 5,100-square-foot property at 61 Kane St. sold Aug. 9. 

The buyer was Ayaz Investment Group LLC, which is controlled by Marvi and Mustafa Ayaz, state records show.

The seller was REDROC LLC, which is controlled by Norine Derocco, state records show.

According to online news website we-he.com, the new owners plan to convert the building into an IHOP location. 

The property was built in 1979, has 60 surface parking spaces and sits on 1.26 acres.
