Hartford Healthcare - Go-Health Urgent Care has acquired the Branford-based Stony Creek Ventures LLC and its two urgent care facilities in Branford and Orange.

Touchstone Advisors, a boutique mergers and acquisitions firm, announced the deal this month, after serving as financial advisors to Stony Creek Ventures for the transaction.

It was finalized in late September for an undisclosed amount, according to Touchstone.

Stony Creek’s facilities are on Business Park Drive in Branford and on the Boston Post Road in Orange.

Roy Johnson, M&A advisor and certified business exit consultant with Touchstone, managed the transaction.

“We are pleased to have advised the Stony Creek owners in a successful exit of a business they have developed and managed for the past 13 years,” Johnson said, in an announcement. “The sale of this business was not without challenges, including the delay of our marketing effort due to the COVID pandemic in 2020 and 2021.”

Stony Creek had opened its Branford location first, followed by the Orange one in 2013.

The Touchstone advisory team for the deal also included Julianne Williams as due diligence coordinator. Attorney Thomas J. O'Neill III provided legal advice to Stony Creek.

Hartford Healthcare has had an ongoing push into southern Connecticut. In January, it opened a new urgent care center in Milford, inside Milford Marketplace, at 1646 Boston Post Rd.
