Law firm opens Westport office, adds partner

The law firm of Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck LLP recently opened a new office in Westport and added a labor and employment partner, Reshma Khanna. 

Khanna will serve as managing partner for the new office. Attorneys there will serve new and existing clients in the areas of labor and employment, professional liability and commercial litigation.

The firm’s new office is located at 55 Post Road West, Suite 200, Westport.

Michael A. Kaufman, co-managing partner of KDV, said when the firm opened its Westchester office last spring and added 11 attorneys in October, it had a goal of increasing its service across the region and reaching into both upstate New York and Connecticut. The firm is based in Long Island and has offices around the country.

“Reshma’s established relationships in New York and Connecticut will be a great asset as we leverage our platform in the regions,” he said.
 
Khanna joins KDV from Goldberg Segalla, where she was a labor and employment partner and handled claims for large insurers and claim management agencies.

Shelton manufacturer names new chief legal officer

Edgewell Personal Care Company recently announced it has hired LaTanya Langley as its new chief legal officer, effective Feb. 28.

Langley will be based in the company's Shelton office and will report to President and CEO Rod Little.

“I'm confident that she will not only enhance our culture, but also quickly establish herself as an invaluable partner to our business leaders around the world,” Little said.

Langley joins Edgewell from BIC Corp. where she served as vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. 

Edgewell makes well-known brands such as Schick and Wilkinson Sword men's shaving products; Schick and Billie women's shaving products; Edge and Skintimate shave preparations; Playtex, Stayfree, Carefree and o.b. feminine care products; Banana Boat, Hawaiian Tropic, Bulldog, Jack Black and Cremo sun and skin care products, and Wet Ones moist wipes.
