Roehm America LLC has leased 15,000 square feet of flexible space in Wallingford.
The space is at 101 North Plains Industrial Rd., in building 2. The lease term is for 10 years and nine months, with a value in excess of $1 million, according to The Proto Group LLC in North Haven, which announced the deal this week.
Roehm America is affiliated with Röhm, a German-based plastics manufacturer which has some 3,500 employees and 15 production sites around the globe, with branches in the U.S., Germany, China, Russia and South Africa. Its products have an array of applications, from use in cars and airplanes to greenhouses, signage and protective barriers.
According to the company, polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) products from Röhm are sold in the Americas under the registered trademark ACRYLITE®, and on the European, Asian, African and Australian continents under the registered trademark PLEXIGLAS®.
Shawn McMahon of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the tenant, and The Proto Group represented the landlord, Harvest Park Associates, in the deal.
