Midstate Radiology Associates acquires Radiology Group P.C.

A Meriden-based radiology group has acquired a competing medical imaging company with offices in Branford and Hamden.

Midstate Radiology Associates last week announced its buyout of Radiology Group P.C., expanding its presence in the Greater New Haven area. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Officials with Midstate Radiology said they will retain Radiology Group P.C. staff at the Branford and Hamden locations. The offices perform bone density testing, CT scans, mammograms, ultrasounds and X-rays.

Midstate Radiology has locations throughout central and southern Connecticut. In 2019, the company bought Vein Centers of Connecticut, which specializes in non-invasive vein therapy.
