Two former Morgan Stanley investment advisors announced the formation of Hartford-based All Source Investment Management, which focuses on alternative investments for an affluent client base.
Justin Bernier and Patrick Kennedy, who both previously worked at Morgan Stanley as alternative investment directors, established All Source as a group that will help wealthy individuals invest in traditional portfolios and alternatives like private equity and hedge funds, Bernier said.
The company is located in the CityPlace office building on Hartford's Asylum Street.
"All Source reflects our ability to expand client opportunities into alternative investments and tax-advantaged strategies that historically benefited only the mega-wealthy," Bernier said.
The company's business plan includes a continuing relationship with Integrated Advisors Network, an investment advisor that supports independent wealth management groups, the company said.
Kennedy said All Source's goal will be to level the investment playing field between the wealthy and ultra-wealthy.
"We want to help millionaires invest like billionaires," Kennedy said.
