Movers & Shakers: Joyce rejoins YMCA of Greater Hartford as chief development officer

Sue Joyse has rejoined the YMCA of Greater Hartford as chief development officer, focusing on the organization's fundraising efforts.

Joyce served as YMCA of Greater Hartford's vice president until 2014, and previously led philanthropy teams for the St. Francis Foundation and the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Foundation.

Andrew J. Baldassarre was hired as principal and chief market strategist at Glastonbury wealth management firm Rossmore Private Capital LLC.

Baldassarre previously served clients as a senior portfolio manager and investment strategist at investment firms in Hartford and Boston.

Laila Partridge was named managing director of Stanley Black & Decker's STANLEY + Techstars Accelerator, a Hartford-based startup accelerator program.

Partridge previously worked as CEO of WegoWise Inc., a company that tracks energy and water use.

Diane Kozel has joined Plainville construction company NDC Commercial Construction, and will lead business development.

Kozel previously led business development at FIP Construction in Farmington.

Catherine Duke was hired as chief talent officer at Hartford law firm Robinson+Cole, where she will be responsible for the overall professional development, performance management, integration and inclusion of the lawyers and staff at the firm.

Duke previously worked as legal director of the labor and employment department at Proskauer Rose.

Meghan Smith has been promoted to partner at Vernon law firm Kahan Kerensky Capossela LLP, where she will focus on business law including commercial and residential real estate transactions.

Smith joined the firm in 2015.

Brenda Watson was appointed to the board of the Connecticut Green Bank, a quasi-public nonprofit focused on environmental issues.

Watson is executive director of Operation Fuel Inc., a Connecticut nonprofit that provides cash assistance for low-income household heating expenses.
