Foxwoods Resort Casino has added stadium-styled gaming to its Rainmaker Casino -- and has plans to do the same at its Fox Tower in 2018.
Dubbed “Rainmaker Stadium,” the amenity features live dealers for Blackjack and Mini-Baccarat projected on massive, high-definition screens in front of 30 play terminals set up much like stadium seating. Players toggle between games at the push of a button from their individual terminals, which come equipped with charging stations and beverage holders.
The two types of games can be played simultaneously.
Rainmaker Stadium was created through a partnership with Prospect, Ill., gaming company Novomatic Americas.
Foxwoods plans to open an additional 24 play terminals and three new games in the Fox Tower in 2018. Players in the Rainmaker Stadium and Fox Tower will be able to participate in games at both locations, resulting in the ability to play six table games at once from a single station.
