A well-known Connecticut personal injury law firm is expanding by adding a new office in New Haven.
Jonathan Perkins Injury Lawyers plans to open its sixth law office in the state on Monday, Sept. 13. It will be downtown, at 786 Chapel St., in a space on the second floor, within walking distance of the New Haven-based state and federal courthouses.
The firm currently has offices in Hartford, Bridgeport, Woodbridge, New London and Waterbury.
The move marks a continued expansion for the practice in recent years, as it opened its New London location in 2018.
According to Perkins, New Haven-area residents have always been part of the firm’s client base.
“Now, with a downtown New Haven location that’s just minutes from Yale, Wooster Square, Fair Haven, East Rock, Westville and other area neighborhoods, we can more effectively and efficiently serve our clients,” Perkins said in an announcement.
The law firm represents individuals who have suffered personal injuries “due to the negligence and wrongful acts of others.”
This includes a range of cases, such as wrongful death, nursing home accidents and abuse, medical malpractice, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, dog bites, defective products, slip-and-fall and workers’ compensation cases.
