Reason named to senior executive position at Barnes Group

Bristol aerospace manufacturer Barnes Group has named Ian M. Reason to a senior executive position.

Reason took over as senior vice president of Barnes and president of Barnes Aerospace May 2. He succeeded Michael A. Beck, who retired from the company April 30.

Before Barnes, Reason was president of mechanical solutions, interiors and structures with Pennsylvania-based Triumph Group, an aviation and industrial components manufacturer.
