Saisystems Digital of Shelton announced Michael Healey has been picked to serve as its vice president, digital health.
Healey joined the company to oversee digital products and innovation, and he is currently heading up development and production of TheSNFist Suite of Solutions for Post-Acute practices operating in skilled nursing facilities.
Healey has 25 years of information technology experience and over 12 years in the post-acute long-term care field.
“I am thrilled to be part of the Saisystems Digital team,” Healey said in an announcement. “Much of my career has been spent applying technology in the post-acute long-term care space.”
The company indicated that Healey has brought its first application, SNFConnect, to market. SNFConnect is a HIPAA-compliant communication app that helps post-acute providers connect securely with facilities, providers and patients.

Liberty Bank selects new chief digital officer
David Mitchell has joined the Liberty Bank team as its chief digital officer and digital bank general manager in Middletown.
President and CEO David W. Glidden said the bank’s goal is to make its digital platform and product offerings “key differentiators in the industry.”
“With his wealth of knowledge in the digital space, Dave – along with his Liberty teammates – will greatly contribute to redefining banking at Liberty, make us more competitive from a digital perspective and assist us in achieving our new vision to build the community bank of the future,” Glidden said in an announcement.
Mitchell
Mitchell started on Aug. 3. In his new role, he will explore the launch of a digital bank to build upon Liberty’s online and mobile options, manage its digital platforms, and develop and market future digital offerings.
Prior to joining Liberty Bank, Mitchell was president of NYMBUS, a provider of cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions to Fintech markets.
