A limited liability company linked to ServiceMaster Apple Valley recently paid $1.2 million for a 14,560-square-foot industrial building in Southington.
Isabeth Criscitello, owner of the home and commercial disaster restoration company, said the purchase will allow her 12-person company to move from leased space in Prospect to a portion of the Southington building by June.
“It’s a dream come true,” Criscitello said. “It is going to allow me to own a property in my hometown, where I raised my family. It’s really an exciting time.”
Isabeth Criscitello and her husband, Richard, of Southington, are the principals of 161 Atwater Street LLC, the company that paid $1.2 million for the 31-year-old building on 1 acre at 161 Atwater St. in a sale recorded by the town on Jan. 13.
The property was sold by nutritional supplement vendor Advanta LLC, whose principal is Dzmitry Hryharovich. Advanta paid $850,000 for the building in 2014.
Criscitello said her business will occupy about 6,000 square feet of the building, with the remainder leased to longtime tenant Fluid-O-Tech International Inc.
