Gov. Ned Lamont on Sunday aired reopening guidelines for restaurants, museums, gyms, hotels, amusement parks, movie theaters and other businesses as the state continues to ease COVID-19 restrictions on June 17.
Many of the sector-specific rules for reopening continue to require that businesses enforce and implement limited seating capacity, social distancing, signage, staggered shifts, and increased ventilation and sanitation protocols, among other guidelines. The second phase rules were developed by Lamont and his staff, the Department of Economic and Community Development, in consultation with legislators and recommendations made by the Reopen Connecticut Advisory Group.
