Trevi names new member to board of directors

New Haven biopharmaceutical company Trevi Therapeutics, Inc. has selected Dominick C. Colangelo to serve on its board of directors. 

The company focuses on the development and commercialization of nalbuphine ER to treat serious neurologically mediated conditions. These include chronic pruritus, chronic cough in patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and levodopa-induced dyskinesia in patients with Parkinson’s disease. 

Colangelo has more than 20 years of executive management and corporate development experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, including nearly a decade with Eli Lilly and Company. He has served as president and CEO of Vericel since 2013.

According to Trevi, Colangelo has extensive experience in the acquisition, development and commercialization of products across a variety of therapeutic areas. 

Colangelo has an accounting degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and a doctorate from the Duke University School of Law.

Ndidi N. Moses

Two New Haven area attorneys named officers for CBA

The Connecticut Bar Association installed officers for 2020-2021 at its virtual annual meeting in June. 

Two New Haven area lawyers, Margaret I. Castinado and Ndidi N. Moses, were among the new leaders. 

Castinado will serve as treasurer. She is a senior assistant public defender at the Office of the Public Defender in New Haven, where she has defended thousands of clients with criminal matters since 1999.

Moses will serve as immediate past president. Moses is an assistant U.S. attorney and the civil rights coordinator for the civil division at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Haven, where she coordinates and prosecutes the division’s civil rights and affirmative fraud cases.
 
The other new association leaders include: President Amy Lin Meyerson of The Law Office of Amy Lin Meyerson, President-elect Cecil J. Thomas of Greater Hartford Legal Aid, Inc., Vice President Daniel J. Horgan of Horgan Law Offices, Secretary Erin O’Neil-Baker of Hartford Legal Group LLC, and Assistant Secretary-Treasurer Amanda G. Schreiber of Cigna Health and Life Insurance Company.
