A 2.5-acre Waterbury industrial property with two buildings totaling 89,855 square feet recently sold for $1.9 million.
BH EBAY LLC bought the property at 150 East Aurora St. from 150 East Aurora Storage and Light Manufacturing LLC, in a deal recorded by the city on May 17.
The Brooklyn-based limited liability company that purchased the property was formed on April 8. The LLC’s principal, Hershy Meisels, lists a Brooklyn home and business address, according to the Connecticut Secretary of the State.
The Waterbury property hosts an 87,293-square-foot building dating to 1942, as well as a 2,562-square-foot building erected in 1976, according to city property records.
In recent years, the prior owner had proposed an indoor junk yard that stripped and recycled cars, but the plan was repeatedly rejected by Waterbury land-use officials.
The city assessor appraises the property at $932,874.
