SMG Corporate Services encompasses two companies: SSC, which specializes in security guard services, training and background screening services; and SMG, which specializes in cleaning, janitorial and property maintenance services.

Tell us about your recent accomplishments.

SMG Corporate Services has grown and evolved with our clients through the years, establishing ourselves as a trusted strategic business partner. While originally offering services only in Connecticut, our footprint now includes the Northeast and beyond. This has been accomplished with organic growth and several targeted acquisitions.

What are your family values and how do they contribute to your business success?

SMG Corporate Services is a fourth-generation, family-owned business that started modestly as a window-washing company in Bridgeport in 1924.

From the start, the belief was that growth would come by delivering the best value exchange - that if we delivered world-class service to our clients and provided significant opportunities for our employees, then reliability would become our ultimate value.

Where do you see your business in the next five years?

SMG Corporate Services is focused on remaining a strategic business partner for our clients. This will be accomplished while offering clients a reliable, alternative choice to the large multinational companies for security and janitorial services that dominate our respective industries.
