A longtime Branford business recently purchased an office building at 229-233 Montowese St. for $535,000.
Stephen Press, co-principal of Press/Cuozzo Commercial Services in Hamden, was the listing broker for the sellers, Aaronson Family Trust, and procured the buyer, the Queach Corporation.
The two-story building has approximately 3,400 square feet of space and is located on the Branford Green. It also features off-street parking for 15 cars. It had been advertised for use as professional and medical office space. The building was constructed in 1910 and sits on 0.27 acres.
Queach was formed in 1954, and Michael Giordano is listed as its current president, state records show. The Giordano family also owns Giordano Construction Co. Inc., a construction and general contracting company. Both companies list their address as 1155 Main St., Branford.
According to Press, the new owner is in discussions about potentially leasing the Montowese Street property.
