Brokers for the Charter Oak Mall in East Hartford have signed a nearly 21,000-square-foot lease with value-priced fashion apparel retailer Citi Trends.
Citi Trends, which says it caters particularly to Black consumers, has four other Connecticut stores, including in Hartford and Windsor.
The 940 Silver Lane store ‒ which will be located next to Burlington Coat Factory ‒ opens on March 25, according to Citi Trends’ website.
Steven Becker of The Becker Group Inc. represented the owner, CP Plaza Holdings LLC, while CBRE represented Citi Trends.
Headquartered in Georgia, Citi Trends is publicly traded and as of earlier this month had a total of 585 stores in 33 states.
