Several Hamden auto dealerships and the accompanying real estate — all formerly owned by local businessman Lee Partyka — have sold to a New Jersey operator with a growing Connecticut footprint.

The Chevrolet, Mazda and Isuzu Trucks dealerships at 200 Skiff St. have sold to Skiff Street Realty LLC, which is controlled by Patrick DiBre.

DiBre is the president and CEO of New Jersey-based PSD Automotive Group, which operates auto dealerships in New Jersey, California, Virginia, Connecticut and elsewhere, according to his LinkedIn page.

DiBre purchased the businesses for an undisclosed sum, but land records show he paid $8.9 million for the real estate involved in the transaction, which includes three lots. In addition to 200 Skiff St., DiBre purchased a nearby gas station and car wash, which are operated by leased tenants, and another lot at 214 Skiff St., according to Paul Pawlowski, an attorney who represents DiBre.

“There are no plans to change anything,” Pawlowski said. “Our intention is to operate the business.”

The new ownership has rehired all of the existing staff at the three dealerships, he said. DiBre isn’t new to the Connecticut market. His company also operates dealerships in Middletown, Manchester and Wilton, Pawlowski said.
