A hockey skating and golf training facility is coming to a 3,000-square-foot space in Wallingford.
Cutting Edge Training Center LLC, which was incorporated in January, is leasing a unit at 65 South Turnpike Road.
Gregory Barbiero and Michael Silengo are the managing members of Cutting Edge, according to the Secretary of the State’s office. They plan to operate a synthetic ice hockey skating and golf training facility at the site.
Anthony Poccia of Press Cuozzo Realtors was the agent for the tenant in the deal.
“It is not really ice, but a plastic-like material that you can skate on, but there is no water, no Zamboni,” Poccia said.
According to Poccia, the deal is for a two-year lease with an option to renew.
Financial terms of the lease were not disclosed.
The new tenants are currently doing renovations to the building, and hope to be ready to open this summer.
Kristin Geenty and Bill Clark of the Geenty Group, Realtors represented the landlord, 65 South Turnpike LLC.
