Nantucket’s Oath Pizza adding new location in Blue Back Square

Nantucket’s Oath Pizza is coming to Connecticut.

Oath Pizza, a Nantucket-based craft pizza brand, is opening a new location in Blue Back Square in West Hartford this spring. The new, 849-square-foot “fast-casual” restaurant at 67 Memorial Road will be Oath Pizza’s first in the state.

According to its website, Oath Pizza puts a unique spin on the usual pizza cuisine with ingredients like avocado oil crust, house-made sauces, fresh and organic toppings, and meat and gluten-free alternatives from companies like Beyond Meat.

The new location will offer dine-in, pick-up and delivery options.

According to information from the company, Oath Pizza opened its flagship location in Nantucket in 2015 and has since expanded into the suburbs of Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and other parts of the country.

Per the company, the new Blue Back Square location will be the first to feature the company’s new interior design and layout, which is a collaboration between the company’s brand manager and Boston-based McMahon Architects.
