Waterbury-based Post University recently reached additional agreements with institutions of higher learning to help students easily transfer credits and continue their education at Post.

Post formally entered into memorandums of understanding with Middlesex Community College, Quinebaug Valley Community College, Capital Community College and the Center for Financial Training, which are all in Connecticut.

Outside of the state, Post also reached agreements with the Technical College of the Lowcountry in South Carolina and Arizona College of Nursing.

The agreements allow for two-year degree earners to continue their education at Post, either in-person or online.

According to Post, the agreements streamline the process for students to pursue higher degrees and ensure the transferability of credits. Students who earned associate degrees at the community colleges, for example, can continue pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Post.

Virginia Folger, articulation agreement specialist at Post University, said the school is excited to continue expanding its network of transfer partnerships.

“These agreements are our commitment to making degree attainment a reality by offering a seamless transition from associate to bachelor’s degrees,” Folger said.

Students accepted to Post through one of the six new articulation agreements also will receive a reduced tuition rate.

With these latest agreements, Post now offers transfer programs with more than a dozen institutions in Connecticut, South Carolina, Texas, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Georgia, Arizona and Washington.
